… but it ain’t today, people.
But I did find out about summer Fridays, and although I failed at it, it’s still is a pretty awesome thing! Apparently, ALL SUMMER LONG, we can leave work as from 1pm on Friday – if the job is done. Which today, I didn’t finish till 5.30, ‘cause I had a lot to do… actually, now I come to think about it, I kinda like that. There have been weeks of ongoing post about how bored I was at work… and then it hit me: that was like ages ago – a lifetime, even. Then I cried a bit, because, honestly: look at me now! No time to be bored! And a possibility to an extended weekend throughout the entire summer? I don’t often use the word ‘blessed’, but this comes pretty damn close.
PS: it’s going to be a hot and partly sunny weekend… people have been begging me to stay out of the sun… weird.
PPS: after a very busy week of afterwork drinks and events and just working late, I signed up for a bath, some take-out food and a little distraction…
